Preparing For A NEW Start!!!!

EXAMS are finally OVER!!!!! As of Thursday afternoon 1315HR, I've handed up my exam script and am finally done with my UOL examinations as of 2005!! The smell of FREEDOM is EVER SOOO.................OHHH SWEET!!
As I was still running on the residue of the many cups of COFFEE(CAFFEINE), that had been keeping me awake through the night of studying before my last LAW paper, I went around town aimlessly, and meeting up with a friend for lunch at the weirdest of location. ALL of which, fueled by JOY and CAFFEINE. When I finally reached home, I turned ON my PC, and started playing all the games that I haven't touched for a while, till the CAFFEINE in my system was finally used up and burnt off. After which, I just went to bed and CRASHED till Friday evening 1700HRS or so. Then, it was a long awaited HEARTY meal, and since it was the Dumpling festival on the next day(a.k.a. TODAY, 11th June), the meal was simply dumplings, all 5 of them, YUM YUM!!!!!
Again, I was on my faithful PC, gaming away till the next morning!! Of course, I took a break of an hour or so for my ANIME on ARTS Central from 2300HRS to 0000HRS. Wouldn't want to MISS it again for the WORLD!!! By 0600HRS or so, my parents woke and asked me a great question,"BREAKFAST in JB??" The next few hours was food OH GLORIOUS food. I had dim sum for breakfast, and my FAVOURITE BEEF NOODLES for an early lunch, seperated with about a 2 hours shopping spree for our up-coming HOLIDAY to SHANGHAI on the coming Wednesday!!
We got back by about 1300HRS, and my day ended with a trip to the hair-stylist, it was SAYONNARA to my PONY-TAIL of 4 YEARS. Cutting it wasn't SAD or anything, I didn't feel a thing when the hair-stylist snapped it off, just that I had an unstoppable URGE to wash my hair when I got home finally at 1400HRS or so. So, as of
TODAY, my PONY-TAIL is being REPLACED by a DRASTICALLY SHORT head of HAIR!!!

Mother's Day

As this year's Mother's Day approaches, I'm again reminded of an event which happened the same time last year. This year's Mother's Day falls on the 8th of May, which is also my old buddy's birthday, which was also his grandmother's death annivesary. His grandmother died last year on his birthday, and 2 days later, his Mum also passed away, which was last year's Mother's Day.
Now, I'm really stuck with the problem of whether to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY or to simply just act as if I've forgotten about it ALTOGETHER??? That's because I've always wished him Happy Birthday annually on his birthday without fail, but what should I do this year???
Last year was a really BIG shock to him, and I'm not sure if he's gotten over it since??

"INUYASHA" All Over Again?

I'm BACK!!! Was busy with lots of things lately; classes, revisions, outings, you name it, I'm probably doing it!! Especially STUDYING!!!

OK!!! What the HELL do people at Arts Central think we, the public ARE??? If they ran out of ANIMES to show, they can actually show the Japanese speaking version of "GUNDAM SEED", die-hard ANIMES fans would more than WELCOME THAT!!!

Are the management short on financing or simply not bothered? They don't have to go show "INUYASHA" ALL OVER AGAIN?? Repeating an ANIME they just aired less than 4 months ago on the (almost) same time-slot again? (From the 11.30P.M. time-slot previously, to the currently 11P.M. time-slot.)

Happy Lunar NEW YEAR!!

Haven't blogged for a while lately. Was having a lot of dinner functions and gatherings to attend during this festive period. Met up with almost all my cousins, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunties during the few days of massive house visits, especially on the FIRST day of the LUNAR NEW YEAR.
Most of my cousins are married, which brought about the USUAL QUESTIONINGS! Where is your girlfriend(boyfriend)? When is it your turn to start giving ANG BAO? As one gets older,NEW YEAR gatherings tend to become more of a TORTURE!
Will somebody HELP ME?

Missed MY SAX!!!

Was asked recently by a friend to help out at a song writing competition lately,THANKS to a last minute drop-out by the original SAXOPHONIST,I couldn't help out cause the request came a LITTLE last minute. Due to the fact that I had a previous engagement earlier for the night of the competition(which my friend, too, was being invited, but didn't attend because of the competition),I had to decline my friend's request, but actually, because I haven't(really) touched the SAXOPHONE for at least 7 years!
Due to my earlier drinking habit,I've almost totally lost my stamina for playing the SAX,along with the fact that it was only 3 days before the competition, there is NO WAY I'm gonna agree to help! 3 days for me to PRACTICE,and regain my stamina is just too short a time. By the way,my sight-reading skills are also as RUSTY as my PLAYING skills. That guy could very well lose the song writing competition, because of my POOR performance, that's too great a responsibility for me to hold!
In the end,my friend DID found another replacement SAXOPHONIST,and I heard that he was GREAT,but the song-writer/performer didn't do so well though!

Passed my BASIC THEORY!!!

I passed my Basic Theory Test!!! Got an SMS from my dad in the late morning, congratulating me,saying that I've passed my Basic Theory Test. I was like the FIRST person to leave the exam room on the 17th,last Monday afternoon. However, I was among the last few to leave the building, because I was waiting for my friend,Lynette, who was taking the test with me.
Yaaaaahhhhh..........,I was a GENTLEMAN,waiting for my LADY friend. And,yah! She failed her test and I passed!! So,I've gotta treat her to lunch today. After which,we went shopping for VALENTINE'S DAY,her Valentine's Day shopping to be exact. I helped her decide what to buy for her boyfriend, how to put the different presents together to reach a theme, and finally, more kiki n lala stuff for herself. Though,I was initially meeting her to buy a Valentine's Day present for someone ELSE!

Driving Licence here I come!!

I took my Basic Theory Test today. I've began my first step towards the journey of getting my driver's licence. As many a WISE MEN have said,"A great journey begins with a simple(single) step." I've taken the first step towards my driver's licence, and I think I might have to take a break after this first step, cause my UOL exams are coming. Hope I don't get to packet another year again, for if this carry on,I'll probably never graduate!
I've actually put away the thought of getting my driver's licence for close to a decade now. Back in my secondary school days,I had long wanted to get my driver's licence. However,I was eyeing for a motor-cycle's licence, rather than a motor-car's licence. That's because back then, the age limit for a motor-cycle's licence was 16,not the current 18 years of age.
Sadly,my parents got into a motor-cycle's accident when I was 15,and the worst part of it,was that it happened right in front of my old block! I was SCARED shitless when my neighbour informed me that my parents were involved in a motor accident. Luckily, both my parents got out of the accident alive, with my dad more badly SCRATCHED than my mum. After that MINOR INCIDENT,my mum laid down the rules, that if I were to get a driver's licence,it can only be for motor-cars,NEVER motor-cycles!!
